Before founding Gérard Consulting - Fundraising Talent Management in 2012, Phil Gérard has been a fundraiser for over 15 years, working in the community service, education and university advancement sectors with a heavy focus on major and principal gifts in the education sector. A Master of Business Administration degree with a Human Resource Management specialization set me on a new path within the fundraising profession: Fundraising Talent Management.
Phil's experience as a fundraiser is a strong advantage for Gérard Consulting - Fundraising Talent Management and it would be for you. Our firm understands the non-profit sector as insiders. We do not only know the fundraising community, we are involved in it. Phil has volunteered with the Association of Fundraising Professionals as a Director on the board and on several committees. He raised close to $20 million in his career. He understands fundraising best practices, speaks the language, and knows the challenges that professionals in the field face and what they are looking for in a rewarding career.
